In June 2021, a tragedy of untold magnitude unfolded when the 12-story Champlain Towers South condominium tower collapsed, killing 98 and injuring 11 others. Since then, subsequent events have included an unprecedented $1 billion settlement, significant legislative reform and a dramatically altered insurance landscape. This session will explore these issues and others, as well as assess how insuring condominium developments might be forever changed as a result.
