The Institutes CPCU Society is proud to be a global organization with more than 120 chapters, including locations across the United States and internationally. We are also actively working with risk management and insurance professionals across the globe on projects and initiatives to expand our presence and welcome even more international members and chapters to our community.

As a vibrant and inclusive global community that empowers all voices, we are proud to offer equitable membership rates by country based on the World Bank’s classification of economies. Rates are automatically calculated at the time of join or renewal. Local chapter dues not included, if applicable.

International Member Opportunities

 

We are pleased to offer several unique opportunities for members who live outside of the United States to get involved with the CPCU Society community. These programs are specific, and often exclusive, to our international members and the industry issues or trends that they care about most.

 

International Insurance Interest Group

The International Insurance Interest Group (3IG) connects members worldwide to enhance awareness of global insurance and risk perspectives. It has helped establish international chapters, develop knowledge resources, and foster industry connections.

Global Virtual Community and Steering Committee

The Global Virtual Community on INteract connects international and U.S.-based members to share resources, discuss industry topics, and support professional growth. International members are automatically added to this online community, while U.S.-based members can opt in.

The Global Virtual Community Steering Committee oversees the Global Virtual Community, working to enhance international member engagement and value.

International Ambassador Program

The International Ambassador Program provides one CPCU Society member outside the U.S. with a paid opportunity to attend the Society’s In2Risk conference and serve as international ambassador for a year. The ambassador promotes the CPCU designation and Society membership locally, writes articles for various Society newsletters, and receives a travel stipend to support their in person attendance at In2Risk.
