In2Risk Session Formats

A variety of session formats work well for In2Risk presentations. In addition to a standard presentation, consider presenting via express talk, workshop or an unplugged session to include more perspectives and get the audience involved.

Presentation

60 min.

Features one or more presenters sharing perspectives on a single topic in a theater-style setup with a provided laptop, screen, and projector. Panels may have a moderator and up to three (3) additional panelists. Hosting a 10-minute Q&A with audience at end of your session is encouraged.

Workshop

60 min.

Session facilitated by one or more leaders that helps participants develop skills through collaborative learning, using engaging activities such as small group discussions, case studies or audience polls. A laptop, screen and projector will be provided.

In2Risk Unplugged

60 min. (Mics only, no screen)

Similar to a workshop, this is your acoustic set! Bring your most dynamic presence and leave the PowerPoint at home. One or more facilitators can use guiding questions, small group breakouts, role plays and/or handouts to get participants away from screens and engaged with the topic and one another.

Express Talk

10 min. TED-style talk

A TED-style talk given by one content leader that explores a single, sharply focused idea through storytelling. A laptop, screen and projector will be provided. CPCUx Express Talks will be combined into themed, fast-paced sessions. Suggested express talk topics include: innovation and startups, insurtech, marketing and distribution, and non-U.S. markets.
