2024 Leadership Council

President & Chair

Traci Adedeji, CPCU, ARM, API, AIDA, A-CSPO, TRIP

Traci is President of Positive Paradigm Group, a firm specializing in insurance training, education, and professional development. Her thirty plus years’ experience includes leadership roles with several national carriers and expertise in personal lines underwriting and Agile project management. Traci served as President of the CPCU Society Rhode Island Chapter and on several committees before joining the Leadership Council in 2021.

President Elect

Sherry McFadden, CPCU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI

Sherry recently served as an Operations Director with State Farm Insurance Companies in Phoenix, AZ where she also previously held several leadership roles in multiple operational departments. She has a Master of Science in Human Resources from the University of North Florida and is pursuing a doctoral program from the American College of Education in Public and Nonprofit Leadership. In addition to her work with the CPCU Society, Sherry is currently Board Chair of the Greater Phoenix Urban League Executive Board, Member-At-Large of the Valley Leadership Executive Board, and Vice- President of her local chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Secretary

Ramya Sunad, CPCU, ARM-E

Ramya currently serves as a Lead Underwriter with USAA, where she is responsible for managing the Underwriting Catastrophe Management Team. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an MBA in Marketing Management from India, and also obtained her Master's degree in Insurance Management from Boston University.

Immediate Past President

Brett Clausen
CPCU, CIC, MBB, MSIM

Brett is the Government Relations & Process Improvement VP at FBL Financial Group, Inc. Before joining the Leadership Council as Secretary/Treasurer in 2021, Brett served as Managing Governor and Governor of the Mountain States Region, Chair of the Professional Experience Resource Group, and Chapter President of the Arizona Chapter. In addition to earning his CPCU, Brett holds the CIC, AIC, AIS, API, ARe, ARC and AU designations.
