What is something you wish everybody knew about the CPCU Society?
There are so many resources in the Knowledge Center! The webinars are always interesting content, and if you have a burning passion to share your knowledge on a topic, one of the Interest Groups would love to collaborate with you on creating that webinar.

CPCU Society members are passionate about their work. Some call this “geeking out” or being an “insurance nerd.” What have YOU been trying to get better at recently?
I’m always looking to improve my communication skills. I’ve been focused on presenting lately. This is a skill that you really have to exercise to improve, so I’ve been practicing it here at the office with my manager, and I’m lucky to have a great coach! Additionally, my www.insnerds.com team is great for candid feedback!

Some people think there’s more to life than insurance and risk management. If you agree, tell us about something else you’re passionate about.
Lately, I’ve been taking guitar lessons, and I’m finding it’s a great outlet to shut off from work at the end of the day. Looking forward to jamming with fellow #CPCUChampion, Bill Wilson, some day!
