“Aside from the access to educational opportunities that are important to the industry, it's the people. I credit my engagement with the CPCU Society to past and current board members with the Maryland CPCU Chapter, as well as the friends I've met within the society. People in the CPCU society are that much more dedicated. We enjoy building each other up and watching each other grow. The camaraderie and dedication is infectious.”

Giving back to our communities is a big part of being a CPCU. The Alamo Chapter has fully embraced this by hosting several Good Works projects throughout 2022. In February, chapter members and their families joined the city of San Antonio for the Basura Bash, where the group collected trash to clean up the San Antonio Watershed. In May, the chapter volunteered at the Texas Diaper Bank to prepare diapers and other essentials for 150 families. Congratulations to the Alamo Chapter as they continue to serve their community through Good Works initiatives in 2023 and beyond.
