Victor Foggie, CPCU, ARM

Victor is responsible for regional underwriting performance, business development, and field operations for five states which include Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.  In conjunction with the Vice President—Chief Underwriting Officer he is responsible for the development of corporate business strategy.  He serves as the senior field and marketing authority for regional underwriting and risk selection decisions.   A native of Louisiana and South Carolina, Victor began his career with Chubb Insurance in Los Angeles as a Personal Lines Field Appraiser.

Victor is actively involved in his community with a focus on mentoring.  He currently serves as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona and a board member of ACE, a Sacramento-based organization focused on mentoring underserved youth.  Victor is a member of the Arizona CPCU chapter where he serves as Mentoring Chair and a member of the CPCU Society’s Professional Growth & Development Interest Group (PG&D).  Victor is also an active member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and recently served as the 2021 Western Region Convention Chair.  One of his proudest achievements was receiving the Inspiration Award in 2012 from Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area (San Francisco).

Sara VanWyk started her insurance career 15 years ago as a commercial lines rater with a national carrier.  Since her start in this entry level role, Sara has spent time in various roles including underwriter, product manager, technical underwriting expert, and policy admin system expert and testing leader.  She’s currently an Associate Product Line Manager with American International Group (AIG) providing home office product and underwriting expertise for casualty lines.

Sara has a passion for learning and holds the Associate in Insurance, Associate in Insurance Data & Analytics, and CPCU designations from the Institutes.  She also has a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in leadership from the University of Iowa.  Sara is currently the Immediate Past President of the Iowa CPCU chapter and was an inaugural member of the CPCU Society’s Emerging Leaders Committee.
