Post-Pandemic Playbook for the Remote and Hybrid Workforce

Presenter: Michael Koscielny, MBA, CPCU, CIC

Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. ET

The spread of COVID-19 in early 2020 forced many employers to enter into the vast unknown of remote work. For the sake of their own and customers survival they realized it was necessary. More than two years into this response, it is clear that there is no going back to exactly the ways things used to be. Those employers who could pivot in early 2020, even reluctantly, forged on stumbling along the way. Many gained their footing quickly, utilizing remote systems capabilities, virtual meeting platforms and force of will. Others struggled, often with what appeared to be no defined plans. While it was scary for employers, it was terrifying for employees. The risk of being furloughed or job eliminated hung over all involved. As a result, the insurance industry has changed dramatically - not from the perspective of risks we manage on behalf of our policyholders, but how we navigate this new world of a remote/hybrid workforce. In this webinar, we will discuss recruiting (local, countrywide and global), virtual interviews, hiring, onboarding virtually, company culture, and the “over the wall” conversations. Our take away will be the creation of a playbook, that works best, for both employers and employees as we move forward into the “new norm.”
