President and Chair

Sharon Koches
CPCU, RPLU, AAI, AU, ITP

Sharon Koches is founder and CEO of Managing Performance, LLC, providing P&C consulting and human capital development solutions for insurance companies and their agency distribution networks. Koches holds the CPCU, RPLU, AAI, AU and ITP designations and is a member of the Eastern North Carolina CPCU Society Chapter, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, and SITE.

President Elect

Christopher J. Hampshire
CPCU, CIC, ARM

Chris Hampshire works with P&C carriers and program administrators to design impactful claims handling programs as a Vice President in Gallagher Bassett’s Carrier Practice. Before joining the Leadership Council in 2018, Chris served as the Philadelphia CPCU Society Chapter’s President in 2016 and 2017. In addition to earning his CPCU, Chris holds the CIC and ARM designations.

Secretary/ Treasurer

Brett Clausen
CPCU, CIC, MBB, MSIM, AID, API, ARe, AU

Brett is currently a VP at the FLB Financial Group. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska, master's degree from Boston University, and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He serves on the Executive Committee, Leadership Council as Secretary/Treasurer, and is a past Managing Governor, past chapter president, and past chair of PERG IG.

Thomas E. Woods
MS, CPCU

Thomas E. Woods, MS, CPCU recently retired as assistant vice president of underwriting operations for USAA Property and Casualty Company after 37 years. Woods has previously served as the Pikes Peak CPCU Society Chapter president and on the CPCU Society Board of Governors and Leadership Council, as well as in local chapter positions.
