What do you wish everybody knew about the CPCU Society?
How the CPCU Society can elevate their professional network. I have been able to forge great relationships with some of the brightest minds in the insurance industry. Candidly, the CPCU Society has made me a household name in the industry.

CPCU Society members are passionate about their work. Some call this “geeking out” or being an “insurance nerd.” What have YOU been trying to get better at recently?
I am naturally always researching the latest news on the rapidly evolving gig economy to better assess how future trends may impact the industry.

I guess it’s fair to say that I am a true “insurance nerd” when you see consider what I have accomplished thus far: ARM, AIC, AIC-M, AU, AU-M, ARC, AIDA, ARe, AIAF, AINS, API, AIM, AIS; and PMP (Project Management Professional), CLCS (Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist), and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library). Learning is a continuous process!

Some people think there’s more to life than insurance and risk management. Tell us about something else you’re passionate about.
Music is my passion! The legendary Bob Marley said it best, “one good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”

My other passion is language. I have been trying to learn Spanish. I must confess I have mas trabajo por hacer (more work to do).
