What is something you wish everybody knew about the CPCU Society?

The CPCU Society is not just for underwriters. It is a talent house for risk managers, agents, brokers, claims professionals, customer service representatives, regulators, litigators and anyone in the world of insurance. 

It is a powerful group of professionals who are connected worldwide. The Society, the members and the energy… that flow is contagious!

CPCU Society members are passionate about their work. Some call this “geeking out” or being an “insurance nerd.” What have YOU been trying to get better at recently, and what was helpful to you?
I am currently "geeking out" on geospatial intelligence and quantifying resilience through insurance. Resources available through the Society's knowledge center in the format of  webinars, seminars, and articles are a great place to find content to learn.

The networking opportunities the Society offers help me connect with subject matter experts to collaborate and learn better.

Some people think there’s more to life than insurance and risk management. If you agree, tell us about something else you’re passionate about.
I constantly strive to be part of things where I can contribute to solve a problem! Interestingly, insurance is an industry that connects to every other industry. It is one big world we are a part of!

Outside of insurance, one of my bucket list items is running a marathon! In the past months my focus has been trying to understand fitness better and building stamina to actually go ahead and complete my RUN! :)
