Tell us about yourself as a professional.
After 40 plus years in the industry, it is hard to determine a special interest or area of expertise. I have done so many different things. I guess most recently my strength has been integrating new technologies into company policy management systems to gain efficiencies. My hope is that I can leverage all the lessons learned in the roles in this industry into the next phase of my career.
Tell us about something you enjoy outside of work.
I have a few things that occupy my time. I am a reader, woodworker, golfer, love to ride my mountain bike, speaker, mentor, writer, and a professional student. My greatest joy these days come from the time I get to spend with my grandchildren, Daenerys (3) and Kurtis (2).
Why are you passionate about working in insurance?
Outside of the service we perform for our customers, being there for them at their greatest need. My greatest passion is engaging the next generation in our great industry. Being available to share experiences when asked. The greatest satisfaction happens when I can leverage my network and experiences to help young professionals to secure their dream positions.
