COVID-19: A Status Report on Insurance Implications
In a matter of months, COVID-19 has infected over 6 million people, killed over 100,000, and crippled the global economy—resulting in losses expected to exceed the trillion dollar mark.  The impact on the insurance industry in unprecedented and has been felt worldwide with policyholders seeking coverage under a variety of property, event cancellation, and liability insurance policies.  This presentation will address those claims, the litigation arising therefrom, and legislative efforts to address pandemic coverage.
