Interest Group Trailblazer Award

The Interest Group Trailblazer Award annually recognizes two Interest Groups, a Winner and an Honorable Mention, who exemplify the traits of a trailblazer by showing: innovation, strategy, vision, and creativity.

Whether through excellent programming, community and volunteer engagement, or overall planning and strategy, there are many ways one of our eight volunteer Interest Group Committees can earn recognition as a trailblazer, and no two recipients are alike. Specifically, the award aims to recognize our Interest Group Committees who can demonstrate how they lead the way for other Interest Group leaders and for the Society as a whole.

This award strives to celebrate our Interest Group Committees for their outstanding work in supporting the Society community, raising awareness of their particular Interest Group’s industry topic, and for bringing value to Society members.

Submission Information:

Submissions for the Trailblazer Award are annually completed by Interest Group Committee leaders in conjunction with the final submission of their annual business plans.

The volunteer committee of Interest Group Governors, in consultation with Society staff reviews all submissions and selects both the Winner and Honorable Mention.
