Marisol Schulte supports developing and executing TransUnion's product strategy for the personal lines property and casualty markets. She has over 18 years of property and casualty insurance experience, beginning in claims, with additional positions in research and development and product management for State Farm, CSAA and Farmers. Schulte attained her CPCU in 2017 and graduated cum laude from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics.

 

Karen Malone, FLCA, WCLA

LKaren Malone joined TransUnion's insurance team in late 2023 as senior director, life market strategic planning, bringing a wealth of experience from prior roles at Verisk and three insurance carriers spanning small, mid-sized, and large international organizations. Her diverse background covers both life and property and casualty insurance, equipping her with a comprehensive industry perspective.

In her current role, Malone leads the development and execution of growth strategies for TransUnion's life, disability and long-term care insurance lines of business. Her global experience, having worked across five continents, has given her firsthand insight into the diversity of people, processes, and technologies shaping the insurance landscape.

Based in Pennsylvania, Malone is a recent industry speaker, moderator, and author, and regularly contributes thought leadership and strategic vision. She holds a degree from Texas A&M University.

 

Anthony Sullins, CPCU, CLU

Anthony Sullins is vice president of commercial insurance sales for TransUnion, responsible for revenue growth and customer relationships. He also provides counsel on industry challenges and acts as a subject matter expert for TransUnion partners. In his tenure at TransUnion, he secured a new data aggregation patent that led to the development of TransUnion habitational risk product. After a successful product launch, he went on to develop commercial insurance sales vertically.

He joined TransUnion in early 2012 as the commercial insurance product director. In 2019, he transitioned into his current position. Prior to TransUnion, he spent 19 years with Nationwide Insurance in various capacities of product management, sales management, underwriting, and finance.

Sullins earned his Bachelor of Science in insurance and risk management from the University of Memphis. He obtained his CPCU designation in 1995 and CLU designation in 2003.

 

Steven Fischl, CPCU, ARM-E and ARe (Moderator)

VP, Regional Product Leader – Personal Risk Services

Based in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, Steve Fischl is a vice president and regional product leader in personal risk services.

With over 19 years of expertise in personal lines insurance, Fischl started his career in risk consulting at Chubb. He then spent 10 years in underwriting holding various roles before moving into his current role, where he oversees product for the New York and Northeast regions for both profitability and growth.

Fischl holds a Bachelor of Science from Muhlenberg College and a Master of Science from Boston University. He is accredited with the CPCU, ARM-E and ARe designations.
