The Boston CPCU Society Chapter Promotes Health with Successful Running Club

 

The Boston Chapter has a very active running club that is currently offering a Couch to 5K program in addition to regularly scheduled runs.  They wear red t-shirts with the Institutes emblem on them, promoting the importance of the CPCU Society while also staying fit! The C25K program progresses from not being able to run at all up to being able to run 3 miles-all within 8 weeks!  They are currently on week 5 and the group ran a full 30 minutes (with a 1 minute, mid-run rest) last night.  The regular group chooses either a 3 or 4 mile run.  Not surprisingly, this has turned into a great networking event, as people share a lot about themselves when running in a group and socializing afterwards.  The entire group will be registering to run a local 5K in mid-July.
