What it’s about:
This webinar is a follow-up to the Social "ME"dia webinar offered in March 2018 and provides concrete examples of how to build your personal brand using the most popular social media platforms. Principles for creating and enhancing your personal brand will be shared along with sample social media posts to illustrate how to apply those concepts. By following the guidelines provided in this webinar, participants will gain knowledge and confidence in using social media tools to further develop their personal brand to achieve career success and reflect positively on their employer.
At the end of this webinar, the active attendee will understand:
- Why proactively shaping your personal brand is critical to long-term career success
- Fundamental principles to help build a personal brand using popular social media platforms
- How to apply principles themselves through the use of specific examples

Abi Potter Clough, MBA, CPCU, API
Abi Potter Clough is a senior business procedures consultant for MetLife, leading claims customer communications in digital and legacy media. She earned her CPCU in 2013 and her MBA in International Business in 2012. Abi is the Chair of the International Insurance Interest Group, and also serves as a member of the International Ambassador Committee. In addition to her CPCU and MBA, Abi holds the API, AIC-M, AIM, AIS, and AINS designations.
Rob Galbraith, CPCU, CLU, ChFC
Rob Galbraith is a Director of Underwriting for Property & Casualty at USAA. He has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry in a variety of positions with USAA, Smith Barney, and the Federal Reserve Board. He holds a master's of science in insurance management from Boston University and a bachelor of arts in economics from Michigan State University. Rob earned his CPCU designation in 2003 and was recently elected to serve as a national director on the CPCU Society Leadership Council. He also holds the CLU and ChFC designations.
Bruce Hicks, CPCU
Bruce Hicks is a senior editor, Technical and Educational Products Division, for Rough Notes Company, Inc., where he edits and writes PF&M, a property-casualty forms-analysis reference guide. Hicks has served as a personal lines underwriter for several companies. Currently serving on the International Insurance Interest Group Committee, Hicks has been the research committee chair and public relations chair for the CPCU Society Central Indiana Chapter; has served on the CPCU Society Information Technology Interest Group Committee, the Excess/Surplus/Specialty Lines Interest Group Committee, and the Diversity Committee; and is a past member of the CPCU Society Board of Directors (now the CPCU Society Leadership Council). He has earned the CPCU and CLU designations.

How do I report my CE for CPCUs credit?
Webinars count for 1 hour of CE for CPCUs credit. Your credit will be automatically reported with your registration for a live webinar. You can also earn CE for CPCUs credit by viewing recorded webinars though the Knowledge Center. All webinars watched in the Knowledge Center will be automatically reported for 1 credit.
Are CPCU Society webinars approved for state licensure CE?
At this time none of the webinars are approved for CE in any state.
