Mentors: Getting One, Being One

Tuesday, September 12, 2017  2:00 pm Eastern

What it’s about:

Have you ever thought about how great it would be to have a mentor? Or how rewarding being a mentor to someone else would be? Do you know what is involved in creating a mentoring relationship? There are great advantages to both sides, especially related to leadership development, job satisfaction and career development.

When mentees have someone with whom they can discuss job challenges, skill development and the frustrations of daily work life, they can become energized and excited about their jobs. It's like having your own personal adviser and support system. Productivity increases significantly because mentees feel much more motivated when they are being mentored.

According to Peter Drucker, "The best way to predict the future is to create it."

At the conclusion of this webinar, the active participant will understand:

  • What they need to do to get a mentor
  • Why they would want to be a mentor
  • How to distinguish what it takes to be an effective mentor and mentee
  • The benefits to mentees and mentors

Who should attend:

This webinar is for professionals and leaders who want to build and hone skills that will improve not only their own performance but also that of others. This webinar is for all levels professionals, middle managers and senior leaders.
