Presented by the Claims Interest Group

What it’s about:
Medicare Advantage Plans (MAPs) are quickly emerging as the latest claims challenge. With a third of all Medicare beneficiaries nationally now in a MAP, this is an issue that is not going away. Armed with favorable court rulings granting “double damages” recovery rights, MAPs are become more aggressive in asserting recovery claims. Join this webinar to learn more about MAPs and how to handle the related issues.

At the end of this webinar, the active attendee will understand:

  • Whether MAPs have recovery rights
  • Which courts have granted MAPs “double damages” rights
  • How to handle MAP lien claims

Who should attend:
This webinar is ideal for Section 111 rookies, veterans, and all levels in between. Claims adjusters and other frontline handlers, Section 111 compliance managers, executives, adjusters, attorneys, carriers, and risk managers would all benefit from attending.
