Lisa Bracero

Lisa started her career in insurance in 2003 with a Fortune 100 insurance carrier. In her 15 years with the company, she worked her way up from commercial underwriting to product development and sales. She was recognized as one of the 2017 Sales Associates of the Year for her results, professional contributions and community involvement. She joined Bender Insurance Solutions in 2018 specializing in Construction and Agriculture accounts.


Lisa graduated from California State University, Sacramento earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She dedicates herself to continuous professional development so she can advise clients through emerging trends. She has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS), and the Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations.

Lou Nunez

A graduate of the College of Insurance (now St. John’s University), Lou Nunez has a combined 38 years of experience. An aggregate of 22 years with the aviation industry as an underwriter with CIGNA Aerospace (now ACE), a senior broker with Alexander & Alexander (now Aon), and General Aviation Division Manager for Reliance National. He joined AIG in 2004 with the AIG Insurance School primarily servicing the global casualty and specialty divisions. He also coordinated technical training for the AIG Professional Associates program which recruited and trained college graduates for careers within AIG insurance and risk management. He concluded service with AIG as a Senior Training Specialist and joined Zurich International Programs as an International Product Referral Underwriter in 2013.

Lou is a past President of the New York Chapter of the Society of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (1991-1992). He continues to serve on the Board of the Chapter. Since earning his CPCU designation in 1983, Lou has served as the Chapter’s New Designee Representative, and chaired the Candidate Development, I-Day and Education Committees. With the National Society he has served and chaired the Candidate Development and Excess/Surplus/Specialty section committees as well as served on the Board of Directors and returned to National Service on the Excess, Surplus, & Specialty Interest Group Committee. He was a RIMS Scholar and a recipient of the Herbert L. Spencer Scholarship from the Risk and Insurance Management Society.

How do I report my CE for CPCUs credit?

Webinars count for 1 hour of CE for CPCUs credit. Your credit will be automatically reported with your registration for a live webinar. You can also earn CE for CPCUs credit by viewing recorded webinars though the Knowledge Center. All webinars watched in the Knowledge Center will be automatically reported for 1 credit.

Are CPCU Society webinars approved for state licensure CE?

At this time none of the webinars are approved for CE in any state.
