Evaluating Client Cyber Risks—Asking the Right Questions to Accurately Assess Risk and Premiums

Tuesday, April 2, 2019  2:00 pm Eastern

Presented by the Risk Management Interest Group

What it’s about:
The purpose of this webinar is to provide an overview of best practices for carriers and agents in their discussions with their clients to ensure they are effectively and efficiently treating cyber risk. It will also include discussion of key IT risk assessment documents, client efforts to ensure business resiliency, and how to ensure necessary cyber risk policy terms are included so that the premium charged reflects actual risk and creates benefits for both parties.

At the end of this webinar, active attendees will understand:

  • The critical risk assessment documents that should be available for underwriting review
  • Why client discussions for Cyber Risk Liability policies should include the IT Security Officer and the Chief Information Officer, in addition to the normal insurance decision makers
  • That a client’s corporate culture, staff security awareness training, and proactive business interruption preparedness are as equally important as the technical security efforts

Who should attend:
Risk managers, underwriters, agents & brokers, Chief Information Officers and Security Officers, and all other industry professionals interested in managing cyber risk would all benefit from attending this webinar.
