Commoditization, Disruption, and the Imminent Death of the Insurance Agent

Wednesday, April 12, 2017  2:00 pm Eastern

What it’s about:

Much of the industry buzz for the past few years has been about the proliferation of start-ups (also known as "disrupters") and how they are going to revolutionize the insurance industry and potentially displace the insurance agent. This webinar explores the issues and makes some predictions for the future of the insurance agent.

At the conclusion of this webinar, the active participant will understand:

  • Whether personal lines and small business insurance is, or is becoming, a commodity
  • Whether insurance agents and insurers are likely to be displaced by industry "disrupters"
  • How insurance agents and insurers can separate reality from perception, hype and hyperbole

What it’s about:

Agents, brokers, agency owners, underwriters, risk managers, claims professionals, and other insurance professionals will benefit from this webinar.
