The keynote session, Leadership in Uncertain Times, will focus on the urgent need for leadership in the risk management and insurance industry, which is operating amid unprecedented man-made and natural economic losses, rapid technological change, workforce disruptions and low interest rates.
Dante Disparte is an entrepreneur, business leader and global risk expert. He is founder and CEO of Risk Cooperative, a strategy and risk advisory firm, and founder and chair of the Business Council for American Security, part of the bipartisan American Security Project think tank. At the White House’s invitation, Disparte spoke at the 2015 Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Kenya. Today, he continues to address issues around risk, economic competitiveness and security in leading media outlets. He speaks six languages and co-authored the book Global Risk Agility and Decision Making. A graduate of Harvard Business School, Disparte holds a master’s degree in risk management from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in international and intercultural studies.
