Risk awareness has become even more critical for any business that is going to survive in a post-COVID world. Learn how the ERM process effectively identifies risks and emerging issues to enable companies to adapt to changing dynamics and ensure readiness when disruption occurs. Hear how underwriters view risk exposure and consider risk mitigation strategies in the risk transfer equation. Find out what information to convey from your ERM program to the underwriter that will enhance confidence about the company's overall management and control of risks that leads to minimizing loss exposure. Learn from real-world examples of how ERM, underwriting, and risk transfer can work together to optimize capacity and affordability for both the underwriter and the insured. In recognition of our host city, virtual or live, we will draw upon history and lessons learned from the Great Chicago Fire to demonstrate ERM and underwriting principles..

Presented by the Underwriting and Risk Management and Loss Control Interest Groups and in collaboration with the Risk Management Society (RIMS)
