What is something you wish everybody knew about the CPCU Society?
Being a part of the CPCU Society has allowed me to meet and connect with the best and the brightest in the insurance industry. The national and local meetings draw an impressive group of peers who are all interested in providing support and encouragement for all.
CPCU Society members are passionate about their work. Some call this “geeking out” or being an “insurance nerd.” What have YOU been trying to get better at recently?
In my current role, it is critical that I remain up to speed on emerging risks so that I can better advise my clients. InsurTech is changing the supply chain and making us all more efficient on servicing and delivering our products. I am currently committed to learning more about Blockchain, and how it will continue to impact the claim process.
Some people think there’s more to life than insurance and risk management. If you agree, tell us about something else you’re passionate about.
Finding new and better ways to perform professionally allow us to spend more time with the things that are important to us, such as our families. Of all the titles and positions that I serve, my favorite is still being a wife and mother.
