The Strategic Communication skills training focuses on teaching "conversation" as a skill.  This work create the important connection between conversation and personal/professional success.  This training integrates familiarization and discussion  of the book Fierce Conversations: Achieving Success at Work & in Life, One Conversation at a Time by Susan Scott. 

Lesson 1:  Introduction to Strategic Communication - Concepts and 
Guiding Principals 
Lesson 2:  The Team Engagement Conversation
Lesson 3:  The Contentious Conversation 

Each 2-hour lesson is presented virtually.  Participants will have homework to complete between lessons.

Schedule and Rates
Participants join one of these two learning cohorts (choose one when you register): 

Cohort 1:  Held Tuesdays, March 9, 16 and 23 at 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET  (6 hours total) FULL 
Cohort 2:  Held Wednesdays, March 10, 17 and 24 at 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET (6 hours total) FULL

Each cohort is limited to 20 registrants to ensure personal attention and interaction.

Dr. Sarah Stebbins, Certified Professional Coach

With over 25 years of experience developing/delivering curriculum for workshops, seminars and university classes, Dr. Stebbins has developed an enthusiastic following for her training programs and organizational consulting work.  Her clients include Fortune 500 companies, the Federal Government, colleges/universities and large diverse non-profit organizations. Most recently, she completed her third year delivering a nine-month Leadership Institute she co-developed for the Portland Community College System, the largest community college system in the state of Oregon.  Her leadership training has been described as “some of the most effective training I have ever received.”   Looking for a way to help her organizational clients improve their abilities in implementing change, Dr. Stebbins became a licensee of Prosci Change Management Methodology and pairs this methodology with the strategic communication skills of Susan Scott’s Fierce Conversations. She is successfully integrating these skills inside organizations to help them make the case for and implement change. In addition, as a professional coach, she is experienced in coaching executives and leaders with managing organizational change and expanding their potential as leaders
