Webmaster Training
The Society is offering hands-on training at the Society’s headquarters in Malvern, PA, to help chapters make the most of their Web sites.
The Society will hold its one-day Web Training workshops on:
Each session runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes lunch.
Attendees will learn how to better market their chapter and communicate with members through the free Web site the Society offers each chapter. Upon completion, participants will be able to perform administrative editing; create new text modules; add graphics, polls, shared files, and calendars; edit and post information from chapter members; and send e-mails through their Web site.
The training will be a valuable tool for chapters that are looking to build an online community to network, learn, and share information. It will also help chapters to reach their Circle of Excellence goals.
The Society’s Senior Creative Manager Leslie Higgins will conduct the Web training. An information systems staff member will provide training on how to download and utilize online membership reports to create mailing lists and compile membership data for a variety of uses.
To reserve a space for your chapter’s webmaster or any chapter leader who works with your Web site, please fill out the online registration form or contact Leslie Higgins, or (800) 932-CPCU, ext. 2749. Due to space limitations, only six people can attend each seminar.
CPCU Society Travel Information
Attendees are responsible for their own travel expenses and meals, with the exception of lunch on the day of the workshop, which will be provided by the CPCU Society. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. You will receive an e-mail to confirm your reservation.
