Persuasive Communication for Leaders
This course focuses on participant interaction to learn how to communicate more effectively with others. The goal of the course is to equip attendees to communicate vision, mission, and new initiatives effectively throughout the organization by understanding their audience. In module 1, participants will discuss different communication styles, and practice face-to-face communication. In module 2, participants will continue the process of communication by focusing on written communications, and discussing the nuances of communication with clients, colleagues, and superiors. At the conclusion, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the different styles of communication, and practice communicating with the other styles.
  • Learn how to increase effectiveness by improving communication with others.
  • Understand how to communicate effectively in the electronic age.
