What is the CPCU eJournal?
The new CPCU eJournal is a monthly "e-zine" that includes timely articles on pertinent insurance issues—similar to the ones published in the printed version of the CPCU Journal.
What happened to the printed version of the CPCU Journal?
The CPCU Journal is transitioning into the eJournal, which will be produced in an electronic format as an e-zine. The quality of the content will remain the same; however, the new eJournal offers ease of use, increased frequency, and timeliness.
Who made the decision to transition the printed CPCU Journal into an online Journal?
The Society's Board made the decision, which will benefit members. Our members have told us that they prefer electronic delivery of information. The eJournal will meet that need by providing the same high-quality articles that were published in the printed Journal right to your desktop.
How often will articles be "published," and in what format?
The frequency has increased from a quarterly printed publication to a monthly electronic e-zine, providing you with more timely information. Articles will be posted as PDF files that you can download via Adobe Acrobat Reader.
How can I get a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader?

Can I print the eJournal from my computer?
Yes, you can print eJournal articles, allowing you to read them at your convenience. Plus, PDF files will provide you with excellent quality printouts of the eJournal articles.
How much will the eJournal cost?
The new eJournal will be available free for one year, allowing all visitors to the site access to the high-quality articles of the eJournal. After the first year, the eJournal may be password protected and there may be a fee for nonmember access.
How can I access past articles of the CPCU Journal?
Starting with the 1999 issues, all articles from the CPCU Journal (and CPCU eJournal), CPCU News, and section newsletters are archived in the Society's Online Library, which is located in the Learning Center area of the web site. All Society members must log in to the web site to access Journal articles, and all visitors to the site can search an archive of these publications by key word, author, or title. To purchase print copies of article reprints or back issues of the CPCU Journal, you may contact the CPCU Society's Member Resource Center or call (800) 932-2728, select option 4.
How can I submit an article to the eJournal?
The editorial staff of the CPCU eJournal invites you to submit previously unpublished articles to be considered for publication. You'll receive increased visibility when you author an eJournal article, since all web site visitors have free access to the eJournal in the first year. Click here for submission details.
