some ideas
to help you create your own plan for “Spreading the Word!”. (Each one of
the
files below is a pdf file.)

the CPCU designation, or has never heard of it. Why not take advantage of
this and educate them? Hand out CPCU pocket cards, small

designation. You can even include it in outgoing mail to anyone who is not

CPCU Mentions in the Press

press. These articles can be used as handy tools to give to customers,
clients, prospects,
employers, or even a friend or neighbor looking for information on a particular
issue. If you would like a copy of one of the articles listed below, e-mail
Stephen Young or call (800) 932-2728, ext. 2738.

Press Releases
The CPCU Society uses press releases to keep the media informed of upcoming
Society events, member activities, symposia and seminars, consumer information,
and more. Use these releases as a tool to share information on a particular
topic of interest. Perhaps you would like to share details about the Annual
Meeting with your company, or maybe you want to give a neighbor some consumer
tips. You may even want to ask your PR chairman if localizing a national Society
release would be worthwhile for your market. Visit the CPCU
Society’s Press Room
site to view releases. New releases are posted frequently, so check back
to see the latest.
