Volunteer Leaders to Focus on Leadership Direction in Phoenix
Leadership is more than managing people or projects. It’s about setting a new direction or vision, and creating a sense of purpose so that others will be inspired to follow you.
All CPCU Society leaders and volunteers are strongly encouraged to attend the 2010 Leadership Summit to help chart the Society’s future course, to tap into a wealth of leadership expertise and to explore leadership strategies that work.
The Leadership Summit is the largest annual gathering of Society volunteers focusing on strategic issues affecting the Society and its chapters and interest groups. Hundreds of leaders and volunteers are expected to attend, including officers, directors, chapter governors, task force and committee members, and chapter and interest group leaders.
This year’s program features three days of Chapter Leader Workshops, a new Interest Group Leader Workshop and three brand-new CPCU Society Center for Leadership courses. The courses are open to all Society volunteers, members and nonmembers. |
