The CPCU Society Presents a Webinar on a “State of the Art” Topic!

The Effects of Current Economic Conditions on D&O Insurance Buyers and Sellers

We’ve all seen the headlines — lending restrictions; bankruptcies; market capitalizations and stock price declines … and the resulting job losses and increased regulatory oversight! This very timely webinar will discuss these issues and their impact on various insurance policies. The main focus of this webinar will be on Directors and Officers Liability insurance coverage issues, including warranties made in applying for the coverage; policy language impacting fraud, bankruptcy, mergers, consolidations, and divestitures; stability of insurers; and current market conditions.

What's It About?
The economic events of the past year have had a huge impact on the commercial community and the individuals comprising that community. Who’s It For?
This program is for insurance buyers, insurance agents/brokers, underwriters, attorneys and other members of the insurance and overall business community.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this webinar, the attentive participant will be able to:

  • Better understand the impact of current economic events on D&O Liability insurance coverages.

  • Apply suggested D&O policy language references to better understand that specialized insurance coverage.

  • Understand how to improve coverage under a D&O Liability policy by applying suggested modifications.
