What's It About?
Offered in conjunction with CNA Insurance and the CPCU Society Excess/Surplus/Specialty Lines Interest Group, this webinar will provide an overview of the most common privacy liability and network security risks facing businesses today. It will cover first- and third-party loss exposures, as well as the evolution of information risks. It will discuss appropriate risk control and risk transfer techniques, including risk assessment, risk control, contractual risk transfer and insurance.

This webinar is for agents/brokers, underwriters, loss control professionals, risk managers and business owners who need to manage their own and clients’ risks related to computer networks and data privacy.

Presenter

Stephen F. Douglas, CSP, ARM, is Risk Control Director of CNA Technology, which provides insurance and risk control solutions to businesses in information technology and internet services, telecommunications, and electronic component and hardware manufacturing. He has worked in Risk Control for 11 years and has also worked as a production engineer in electronics manufacturing. Over the past year, he has presented courses on Privacy and Computer Network Security Risks across the country as part of CNA’s School of Risk Control Excellence and as a speaker to trade and insurance organizations.
