Frequently Asked Questions

To help you plan your trip, the Colorado Chapter has compiled the following information.
Welcome to the Mile High City!
Welcome to Denver! And if you are a new designee — congratulations! We are very happy to host you in the Mile High City to celebrate your big achievement.

Denver is a great city to explore, and we know that you will have a wonderful time while you are here. We would like to provide you with some suggestions to help you plan your visit. Of course, we can only provide a sampling of what our favorite city has to offer.

Don’t hold us to this, but plan on lots of sunshine while you’re here. The sun shines more than 300 days a year in Denver. The average high temperatures in August/September are 76 to 85 degrees, with lows averaging from 47 to 56 degrees. So bring your sunscreen, your lip balm and your hat — and drink plenty of water!

You can print out this information and bring it with you to Denver. Or simply use it as a starting point to explore more online.

See you soon in Denver!
