This workshop is designed for licensed agents and adjusters that deal with the Commercial Property contracts. This workshop is designed for attendees with three to five years' experience.

Who’s It For?
This workshop was designed for producers, underwriters, claims adjusters, risk managers, and any other professionals working in commercial property insurance.

What You'll Learn
At the conclusion of this workshop, the attentive learner will be able to:

  • Discover how the new Products Error exclusion will impact your account.
  • Explore the new loss settlement on Party Walls.
  • Examine the loss payable clause attached to the tenant's policy for the building owner.
  • Learn how to extend the tenant's business income to cover the landlord's loss.
  • Analyze the new blanket coverage limitation.
  • Be able to explain the reduction in business income civil authority coverage.

Advanced Inland Marine

What’s It About?
This workshop will enable the insurance professional to learn what they need to know about the Inland Marine Policy and what is and is not covered. The speaker will examine appropriate uses and examine various forms that frequently cause confusion for insurance professionals.

Who’s It For?
This workshop is designed for licensed agents and adjusters that deal with commercial accounts that need coverage off premises. This workshop is designed for students with three to five years experience.

What You’ll Learn
At the conclusion of this workshop, the attentive learner will be able to:

  • Explore the development of Inland Marine coverages.
  • Examine the Builders Risk Coverage Form in detail.
  • Learn why an insured needs an Installation Floater.
  • Discuss the process of procuring an appropriate Contractors Equipment form.
  • Discuss Inland Marine Dealers Policies, focusing on Jewelers Block Coverage.
  • Examine the Commercial Output policy.
  • Discuss Warehouse Operators Legal Liability coverage.
  • Discuss the Miscellaneous Bailee - Processor Floater.
  • Explore Transportation exposures and policies.

Speaker

R. Bryan Tilden, CPCU, CIC, CLU, is a national lecturer and expert witness in the field of insurance. Prior to starting his own firm, Tilden and Associates, he was the director of technical affairs and director of education for IIANC. Tilden has been active in insurance education as a grading panel member for the Insurance Institute of America and the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. In 1988, IIANC presented him with the Ernest F. Young Education Award, and in 1989 Agent of the Year. Tilden has taught in schools for both the PIA and IIAA, been a speaker at RIMS and CPCU Society meetings, and has spoken at various conventions.
