Ethics in Business—Our Heritage and Our Future

Through a series of four unique role plays, this program will introduce the audience to a variety of real life ethical challenges found in today’s insurance workplace. Each role play or vignette will describe a business situation laced with potential ethical dilemmas. Instead of acting out obvious ethical miscues or outright fraud, this program focuses on scenarios with subtle facts which could result in a variety of opinions on both sides of the issue. The vignettes will focus on business situations arising out of a variety of insurance related specialties including claims, underwriting, marketing and IT.

Following each role play, a moderator will facilitate a discussion to review the ethical dilemmas inherent in each situation and the thought process needed to successfully navigate through them.
