This seminar
will address issues that may arise as insurance professionals
communicate with, work with, and relate to our diverse population
in sales and servicing of the insurance consumer. The attendee
will be exposed to different scenarios that may occur as they
communicate and interact with persons of differing racial, cultural,
and ethnic backgrounds; and how their response to them may be
received and interpreted by the hearer. Attendees will develop
an awareness of others’ responses
from their own sensitivity to diversity; and of diversity issues
that, if addressed, will result in personal enrichment and competitive
advantage. Insurance professionals who are in direct contact with
consumers and end users of insurance products will gain valuable
insights at this seminar.
