Emotional Intelligence: Leveraging Social Awareness for Maximum Impact

This course is the second in the Emotional Intelligence (EQ) series. Achieving results through others is a primary component of leadership and managerial success. Whether one needs to affect the performance of employees or collaborate with colleagues, successfully managing relationships for maximum impact is a critical competency. This course will provide opportunities for participants to identify key behaviors to achieve positive results.

Presenter

Rita Williams-Bogar, CPCU, ChFC, AU, is president and CEO of Personal Development Solutions, LLC. She consults businesses and individuals in the areas of leadership development, coaching, ethics and professionalism. She is a keynote speaker for industry and professional associations, and has more than 25 years of corporate experience in the insurance industry, including director of underwriting operations, public affairs coordinator, and director of education and development. Williams-Bogar is immediate past president of the board of directors of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Bergen/Passaic Chapter, executive director of the CPCU Society's New Jersey Chapter, and a member of Bryant University's board of trustees.
