D&O Insurance: Understanding Basic Coverages and Current Issues

Directors and officers' insurance (D&O) has become highly visible in the wake of increased securities class actions, derivative suits and enforcement proceedings. This seminar will demystify the basic coverages available in a D&O policy. It will also provide some insight into the points one should consider when negotiating such a policy. Lastly, this seminar will explore current D&O claims issues arising from the subprime mortgage meltdown, bankruptcy and options backdating.
