One way to raise awareness in your community about the high ethical standards associated with CPCUs is to place a chapter ad in your local newspaper. Your chapter can also earn points in the Circle of Excellence Recognition Program, and the ad may be eligible for reimbursement through the Society’s cooperative advertising program, depending upon your chapter’s advertising activities.
Your chapter can develop its own ad, or use one of the Society’s pre-designed ads. If you use one of the Society’s ads, we recommend selecting an ad from the “Insuring Success” series. Since these ads already contain an ethics message, as well as other CPCU value messages, you are maximizing your ad dollars.
Your chapter can customize the ads by adding a message, such as “The XYZ Chapter of the CPCU Society celebrates Ethics Awareness Month in March!” If it’s too late for your chapter to prepare an ad for this year, please make a note of it for next year.
