CPCU Society members: $125 for one course/$155 for both courses
Nonmembers: $145 for one course/$175 for both courses

Approved for CE Credits!
Each course is approved for four (4) CE credits in the state of Ohio.

Continuing Professional Development Program for CPCUs
CPCUs will be awarded four (4) continuing professional development (CPD) points for each course.

What You'll Learn
Strategic Thinking          
This course focuses on participant interaction to learn how to think strategically and solve problems analytically and strategically.

  • Understand the barriers to strategic thinking and problem solving.

  • Learn and practice the steps to effective thinking and problem solving.

  • Explore options and strategic problem-solving strategies.

Strategic Planning
This interactive course will allow attendees to practice applying the strategic planning process to gain a deeper understanding of the strategic fit between the organization’s goals and capabilities and its changing marketing opportunities.

  • Understand the value of strategic planning.

  • Define expectations of strategic planning.

  • Understand the roles and responsibilities for members of a strategic planning team.

Instructor for Both Courses
Michael Wolfe, CPCU, CRM, CIC, CPIA, AU
, is currently the director of sales training delivery for the Nationwide Insurance Sales Company. Wolfe began his insurance career as a project research analyst for the Erie Insurance Group in 1989, and held various positions in several states including assistant vice president and branch manager. He has also been a licensed agent since 1995, and holds two securities licenses. Wolfe obtained his M.B.A. from Gannon University in 1990, and taught economics and finance until 1995. Recently, he has worked with Franklin University on developing an insurance concentration for its M.B.A. program. He is the past president of the CPCU Society’s Columbus Chapter, and also chairs the Education Committee.
